Before the 2021 plan year begins, now is a good time to review your benefits and possibly save some money. If you've met your 2020 medical plan deductible, you may want to schedule an exam or procedure you've been putting off because of the cost. On January 1, 2021, your deductible resets and you might pay more out of pocket for the same appointment(s).

Also, don't forget about your Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs). These "use it or lose it" accounts do not roll over to next year; this is a good time to review the amount you've spent and to check and see if you have any balance to use.
